On the BMW X1 M, the focus was on preserving the original look. For daily use, a premium paint protection film (PPF) was chosen that preserves the gloss of the paint while providing reliable protection. The result is unobtrusive but effective protection with an OEM character.
Process
After careful cleaning and degreasing of the surfaces, the paint protection film was applied with a precise fit to the relevant body areas. The work was done with precise edges and a clean finish so the film remains almost invisible in everyday use. Controlled adaptation to contours and transitions produces a uniform overall picture without distracting seams.
