Self-Healing Surface
If the paint protection film gets scratched through daily use or in the car wash (light scratches), it regenerates itself with the help of sunlight or hot water.

Professionally installed LLumar Valor paint protection film is covered by the limited manufacturer's warranty against cracking, bubbling and yellowing for 12 years from the date of purchase.
* The warranty is issued by the manufacturer, Eastman Performance Films, LLC. The limited manufacturer's warranty runs for 12 years from the date of purchase and applies to professionally installed LLumar Valor paint protection film. It covers cracking, bubbling and yellowing; it does not cover mechanical damage, improper care or damage caused by third parties. Your statutory warranty rights towards us remain unaffected.
No Cutting on the Vehicle
Thanks to state-of-the-art technology and special software, we can produce the paint protection film pre-cut to a precise fit in advance.
That means no cutting on the vehicle is necessary.
Which Areas Can Be Protected?
Which panels should be protected depends on the vehicle and how it is used.
For a sports car or race car that sees track use, it makes perfect sense to protect the entire vehicle with paint protection film.
For normal use, we recommend the front package consisting of front bumper, hood and fenders.

Frequently Asked Questions About Paint Protection Film
Which paint protection film do you install – and what happened to SunTek Reaction?
We install LLumar Valor. SunTek and LLumar are both brands of the manufacturer Eastman Performance Films; the former SunTek Reaction is being phased out and replaced by Valor. It is the same film with the same Tetrashield top coat, the same self-healing properties and the same 12-year manufacturer's warranty – simply under the LLumar brand name.
Nothing changes for cars that are already wrapped: the warranty on an installed Reaction job continues unchanged. On request we also work with films from XPEL and STEK.
How does self-healing work?
Our paint protection film features a proprietary top coat. This top coat protects the urethane from surface scratches. Most surface scratches heal themselves when exposed to heat – sun, a warm hood (engine running), warm water, etc. We demonstrate this with a copper wire brush to simulate surface scratches, which then heal themselves – just as they would from surface dirt, sand, salt and so on.
Will the paint fade differently with and without paint protection film?
No. The area protected by paint protection film fades at the same rate as the unprotected area.
Is paint protection film also available in matte?
Yes, our paint protection films are also available with a matte surface.
This gives you the option of giving your gloss vehicle a matte finish while the car is perfectly protected at the same time.
Should I wax my car before the paint protection film is installed?
It is not recommended to apply wax or other coatings to your vehicle before the paint protection film is installed. Waxes or coatings can compromise proper adhesion of the film to the vehicle.
Can I take my car with paint protection film through a car wash with high-pressure cleaning?
It is recommended to wait 3 days before washing your car. Hand washing is preferred, but you can also use a pressure wash. Be careful near edges, as the pressurized water can lift the edge.
Can “coatings” be applied to paint protection film?
Ceramic coatings are approved for use with our paint protection films when applied to the surface of the product. Ceramic coatings form an additional barrier against the penetration of solvents and water without negatively affecting the performance or self-healing of our paint protection film.
This application does not void your warranty.
