Frequently Asked Questions About Window Tinting
Does the window tint have to be registered with the TÜV (German vehicle inspection)?
No, that is not necessary. We provide you with an ABG (Allgemeine Bauartgenehmigung – the German type approval certificate for the film). However, it must always be carried in the vehicle and presented on request, especially at the TÜV inspection. A film without ABG – which we do not carry, but which is sometimes offered cheaply – voids your vehicle's operating permit. Optionally, the film can of course be entered in the vehicle registration documents.
Can I use my power windows normally afterwards?
Of course. However, depending on the weather, the windows should not be rolled down for up to 2 weeks after fresh tinting. In other words: the colder it is, the longer the curing time.
Can I tint the front side windows?
Only to a limited degree: the windshield and front side windows must keep a light transmission of at least 70 %. The darker tint levels are therefore not permitted there – as standard we tint the rear side windows and the rear window, and we are happy to advise you on what is allowed at the front.
How long does window tint last?
The film comes with a lifetime manufacturer's warranty.
Can I have my windows tinted in winter?
Why not? The film simply takes a little longer to cure, which is in no way harmful to the window tint. The film is installed in a heated workshop.
What is the view from the inside out?
With deep black tint film, you can hardly see into the vehicle interior from the outside. From the inside, during the day you see out as if through dark sunglasses. Keep in mind, however, that parking in the dark without lighting, for example, may be very limited with a deep black film. Very often, different films are combined – this is not visible from the outside and still gives a uniform appearance.

Vollfolierung in wasabi Green und Schwarze Folierung des Grills, zusätzlich wurde Lackschutzfolie an allen schwarz glänzenden Elementen, der Motorhaube und dem Grill angebracht.
Super sympathisch, klasse Arbeit, zeitnaher Termin, fairer Preis. Vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen!
Ich habe bereits mein drittes Auto bei Folien-Manufaktur folieren lassen und war immer sehr zufrieden. Auch die Beratung und der allgemeine Kundenservice ist super. Meine Wünsche oder Vorstellungen der Folierung wurden immer erfüllt und zum Teil auch mit Ideen der Folien-Manufaktur übertroffen.
