For this BMW M5 G90, the focus was on preserving the exclusive factory paint in Frozen Deep Grey metallic. To protect the factory look for the long term, a premium paint protection film (PPF) with a satin finish was chosen. The character of the original is preserved while the surface becomes noticeably more resilient in daily driving.
Installation
On the cleaned and prepared surfaces, SUNTEK ULTRA MATT was applied as the paint protection film, matched to the matte Frozen paint. The installation was done panel by panel with precise alignment, clean edge lines, and unobtrusive transitions. Special attention went to not distorting the factory matte effect but interpreting it harmoniously in the satin finish.
