On the Cupra Formentor, the focus was on preserving the original paint for the long term. To emphasize the striking lines while increasing everyday usability, the paint was enhanced with premium paint protection film (PPF). The result combines a glossy look with reliable protection on especially stressed surfaces.
Process
For this project, a transparent PPF in gloss was installed and precisely applied to the relevant body areas. The surfaces were carefully prepared beforehand so the paint protection film lies cleanly and can fully show its visual clarity. As a special touch, black PPF was additionally applied to the hood to set a subtle accent and visually sharpen the front end.
